Regular price $20.00
This historic photo shows construction of Union Station which began in the late 1800s to serve the 8 railroad lines providing passenger service to Nashville at the turn of the 20th century. Notice the trainshed in the background, still under construction. The shed spanned 200ft and at the time it was constructed it was the longest single-span gabled roof structure in the United States and when it is said that when it was taken down in 2000 it was the longest structure of it kind left in the world.
